Using Gumroad for Digital Downloads

When I started offering Digital Downloads of the upcoming month's worth of comic strips for Evil Inc, I handled it entirely through Paypal. I enabled micropayments on PayPal, and get up "Buy It Now" buttons that accepted the payment and then deposited the user to a page that I had set up to facilitate the download.

Piracy-proof, it wasn't. But that being said, I haven't seen any significant signs of piracy.

But I wanted to start experimenting with a little more efficient way of handling the transaction, so I foundGumroad through an endorsement of a respected webcartoonist.
