Friday Archive Dive: Safely Enlarging Digital Art

Here's a useful tip from March 26, 2012:

You can always reduce digital art without sacrificing image quality. However, trying to enlarge art will usually result in poor image quality. That’s because you’re effectively reducing the DPI and the LPI of the image as you stretch it. If your original art has a high enough resolution, however, there’s a workaround. Here's how to do it in Photoshop...

Convention Merchandise: Sunday Sale?

It's a pretty common site. By the time Sunday rolls around, the Sunday sale signs start popping up around the show floor.

On one hand, it's an effective -- and acceptable -- method of reducing your stock before the convention closes. If you have the choice between selling a stack of books at a deep discount and paying to have that stack shipped home, it might even be worth it to take a loss on the deal. 

But I can never bring myself to do it.
