Webcomics Bootcamp at Philadelphia Comic Con

I'm going to be doing a special Webcomics Bootcamp at the Philadelphia Comic Convention this year.

Webcomics.com members are eligible for a special discount on the price.

Philadelphia Comic Con: May 31, 5-6:30 p.m.

More than ever, aspiring cartoonists are looking towards the Web as a means of distribution and business. But does your comic strip really have what it takes to be successful online? Webcomics pioneer Brad Guigar, founder of Webcomics.com, author of "The Everything Cartooning Book," and co-author of the book How To Make Webcomics, is offering a one-on-one bootcamp for aspiring webcartoonists.

Brad will present a lecture on the art and commerce of webcomics and then take their class through a collegiate-level critique of their work.

Cost of attendance is $29.99 for Webcomics.com members who would like their work critiqued.(Members of Webcomics.com are eligible for a special discount.)

Participants will be asked to provide their Webcomics.com user name, a contact email address and their comic's URL.

Be prepared to take and offer frank, constructive criticism. Each participant will receive a printed packet with tips, advice and comments directed specifically on how they can improve their work. Everyone is welcomed to attend the panel and join the discussion, but only Bootcamp participants will have their work discussed specifically.
