Semi-Exclusive: Webcomics Confidential with Rich Stevens

As part of the Kickstarter campaign for The Webcomics Webcomics_Handbook_GumroadHandbook, my backers supported the launch of a new podcast series in which I interview movers and shakers in Webcomics and drill down deep on topics and information that affect us all. Rich Stevens is a fantastic cartoonist and a Twitter maestro. His sublime comic, Diesel Sweeties, has been in continuous production since 2000. Rich and I covered his wide range of merchandising experiences, Twitter, his experiment with newspaper syndication and, in a recurring theme, the beauty of restraint. It's one of those talks where an hour goes by in the blink of an eye.

The Kickstarter backers of The Webcomics Handbook received access to this file last week. Webcomics.com members are getting exclusive access to it today before it goes live at WebcomicsConfidential.com on Friday.

Best of January 2014

For only $30, you get access for 12 consecutive months of information, tutorials, critiques and intelligent discussion among serious cartoonists. (And you don't have to wade through a couple dozen lame self-promotional pitches every day to get to the good stuff!)

Of course, you can always buy my new book -- out in digital release right now. The Webcomics Handbook is the sequel to How To Make Webcomics, and it's based on some of the best information from Webcomics.com, and you can read it right now. Of course, members of the site get it for 50% off.

Remember to follow @Webcomicscom on Twitter for site updates, trending topics and more information.

Special note: We're launching a redesign on Friday. The site will most liekly be down for the better part of the day, and the weekend is going to be transitional. Please don't hesitate to alert us to bugs and other concerns. Follow @Webcomicscom on Twitter for updates during this time!
